She is called KumariMayawati who was born on 15 January 1956. She has served Indian Politics as a Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for Four-Terms. She is involved in the party which focuses on the social change and to improve the weaker sections of the society. The name of her party is BahujanSamaj Party (BSP). He has become youngest chief minister of Uttar Pradesh in 1995. Her tenure period has grabbed the attention of many media persons and many controversies. She is treated as a sister in the eye of Dalit people and they refer to her as ‘Behen –Ji’. But the rise of her personal wealth has been criticized as the symbol of corruption.
Personal Life of Mayawati
She was born in the Dalit family. Her father was a post office employee at Badalpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar. Being a daughter she has also faced the problem of education in her childhood as she was sent to government school which were low performing at that time. She completed her BA, Bed, and LLB and started to work as a teacher. Being impressed by her speech she was included in the member of Kanshi Ram Team and they formed BSP. She chose to remain unmarried and serve the weaker sections and the society. She was the follower and observant of Buddhist tradition and customs. She often used to state her intention to convert herself to Buddhism. She had always an expression of views against gender discrimination.

After the formation of BSP by Kanshi Ram in 1984, she joined the party as an active member making herself focused on improving the situation of Dalits and other weaker groups by making certain changes in the rules and regulations. She has supported and fight for the inclusions of Dalits and other weaker sections and making quotas for religious minorities and economically weak upper castes.
In 1985, she was elected as a representative for Bijnor winning the election of Muzaffarnagar District and for Haridwar in 1987. Although BSP did not win control of the house, the electoral experience assisted her a lot to work with the party. The party again won three seats in the 1989 national election and Mayawati was elected to RajyaSabha of Uttar Pradesh. She becomes chief minister again for the short duration of time in 1997. Then after she formed Coalition with BJP from 2002 to 2003. As a chief minister, she has gained good image for effective government and protection and promotion of law and order.
